The Eagle Low Drag GT is a modern interpretation of the iconic, super-rare Jaguar E-Type Low Drag Coupé. The original car was designed by Jaguar to compete with the likes of Ferrari on the racetrack in the early 1960s, but very few were actually built.
Built for touring, from the very first sketch, Eagle designed the Low Drag GT to have the 'long legs' and comfort of a European GT. Performance from the Eagle all-aluminium 4.7 litre XK engine with their sequential fuel injection system would offer high torque, long distance cruising ability and of course, an exceptionally thrilling drive. Electric speed-sensitive power steering, an aluminium differential casing an magnesium peg drive 16 inch wheels would also feature.
So far just one car has been built, but Eagle will consider building a very limited number by individual commission.
